About Dutch: Therapy Dog in Training

Smile When You See Me!

I’m a happy-go-lucky Boxer in training to become an official therapy dog. I may look like a big, muscular defender, but my superpower is turning serious moments into smile-filled ones with my signature Boxer silliness and endless love.

I’m still learning the “professional” stuff (like not zooming around the room or giving wet kisses), but I’ve already got the most important skill down: giving the best snuggles, head tilts, and ridiculous wiggly-butt greetings that make people laugh out loud.

What I Bring to Therapy

  • Instant Mood Boost: One goofy look or demand for attention and suddenly the room feels lighter.
  • Big Boxer Cuddles: I’m a champion leaner and lap-sitter (even if I’m a little too big for laps sometimes!).
  • Stress-Busting Silliness: When things get heavy, I’m excellent at comic relief – whether it’s my dramatic sighs, zoomie attempts, or loud snore.
  • Nonjudgmental & Present: I don’t care if you cry, laugh, or sit quietly. I’m just happy to be your furry therapist.

I’m working hard to develop my therapy skills that include polite manners, calm greetings, and staying focused during sessions. But let’s be real… sometimes my inner clown still comes out. Clients say my bouncy energy and sweet heart make therapy feel way less scary and a whole lot more fun.

My favorite things…

…belly rubs, sardines and salmon, and making new friends.

When I’m not training, I like to bask in the sun, run sprints around my house, and play in the water.

I can’t wait to meet you! Whether you need a calm presence, a listening ear (with occasional silly interruptions), or just someone who’s ridiculously happy to see you… I’ve got you.

Staying stuck is harder than taking the first step.

You deserve support, clarity, and a place where your voice can be heard.

And you're courageous enough to start your own work on the path of the life you want.
